Metallic paint dry brush tutorial, light paint over a dark base
I split this tutorial into two parts (because it was way too long!). This is the Light Side Tutorial, how to dry brush a toy lightsaber light over a dark base (metal over black). Part Two will do dark over light. Goodies and baddies win! w00t!
This is generally how I dry brush blasters and other things to look metal or give things that sort of bluing effect. Again – as with the last tutorial I posted – I say this may not be the only way to dry brush a blaster or prop, or even the best way, but this is the best way for me, it’s never let me down, so I hope it doesn’t let you down either.
