Today I’m bringing a really cool Pokémon card into the third dimension! In this 3D Print & Paint project, I’ll be printing and painting a legendary Ancient Mew card, transforming it from a flat collectible into a display piece worthy of any Pokémon fan’s shelf (I hope, it’s going to my friend @mattsimplified).
Along the way I’ll be: 3D printing the model Painting the details. Using dry brushing techniques to bring out texture and depth Adding highlights and finishing touches. Sharing the entire process from print to display Ancient Mew has always been one of the most unique Pokémon cards ever released, so this was a really fun project to recreate as a physical model.
