Wahammer 40k Chibi 3D Print

Warhammer 40K Chibi

Chibi Warhammer – Tiny Space Marine, Big Reactions

This week I finished painting a fun little Warhammer 40K chibi miniature.

The model was 3D printed, cleaned up, primed, painted, and mounted on a custom 3D printed base. After painting the base, I added some flocking, a few stones, and even some spent shell casings scattered through the grass to give it a bit more character and tell a little story.

It was one of those projects that was simply enjoyable from start to finish. No deadlines, no pressure—just a relaxing few evenings of painting and adding details.

After posting photos online, however, I was immediately informed by several strangers that I was apparently trying to “feminize 40K.”

Which came as news to me.

For the record, I didn’t design the model. I didn’t sculpt the model. I didn’t even modify the model. A talented creator made it, I downloaded it, printed it, and painted it because I thought it looked fun.

That’s it.

Sometimes a tiny, big-headed Space Marine is just a tiny, big-headed Space Marine.

The hobby is supposed to be fun. If someone wants grimdark warriors, that’s great. If someone wants cute chibi warriors, that’s great too. There’s room on the tabletop for both.

Anyway, I had a blast building and painting this one, and that’s what really matters.

Relax, buddy. 😄
