The Fallout style, dug up Batman pistol commission

Every now and again I get a commission idea that is so barmy I love it, this is one of those times. Here was the brief [posted with permission]: “Nerfy I need a basic wood build prop for a student movie. Fallout inspired pistol, but a sort of regular looking shape, not the big cube shape of the actual one, also with some sort of Batman feel. This thing needs to look filthy, like it’s been dug up and is rusted etc. Can you do it in a rush as I need it soon?”. Okay a Fallout inspired pistol, but with something denoting Batman… also real buggered looking… Here’s the result, I give you the Fallout Batman Buried for 50 years prop pistol lol.

As this was a fast build I didn’t have a lot of time as I needed to build it (drying time!), paint it up (drying time!), ensure it was okay and then get it in the post. I’m pleased to say the purchaser loved it when it arrived.

Went with the mustard Fallout microfusion cell idea with the pyro warning. As it was to have a regular pistol shape went with the basic grip and trigger housing and added ‘fins’ onto the back for the Batman thing. There’s also a ‘button’ between the rear fins.
