New Nerf Collector on the Gold Coast Australia

You may recall in the UK I was really into Airsoft collecting, but moving to Australia meant goodbye to a fairly awesome collection (see this post). Now I’ve – just this past month or so – discovered Nerf guns and Nerf collecting here on the Gold Coast, Australia. Sure it’s not quite the same as Airsoft, but it’s damn good fun, the problem is it’s kind of embarrassing because looking up YouTube videos for Nerf modding or Nerf Collectors shows they’re all around 10 yrs old!! Come on people, seriously, adults can have Nerf fun too!! Personally I think Hasbro are missing a HUGE opportunity by not releasing a more powerful (but still safe) range of Nerf guns for adult collectors.

Adult Nerf collectors few and far between?

I have found some adult Nerf collectors and modders on various forums, but for the most part Nerf collecting and modding seems to be the realm of young boys… opportunity missed people… for Nerf collecting and Nerf War is brilliant, safe, fun. Nerf Modding for beginners Australia?

I’d like to get into Nerf modding, that is both aesthetic Nerf mods (like painting etc), to internal Nerf modding, like spring system changes etc. Anyone know of any adult Nerf modding groups, particularly Australian Nerf modders? If you happen to know of any Nerf groups on the Gold Coast, let me know in the comments. Needless to say I’ve done all the Google searches for various keywords “Adult Nerf”, “Adult Nerf Australia”, “Nerf Collectors Australia”, “Nerf Collectors Queensland”, “Nerf Club Australia” etc and I’ve found a few, though most seem US based. If you run one let me know.
